Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RankSage, the review-management service available at https://ranksage.in (the "Service"), operated by RankSage ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

RankSage helps businesses manage customer reviews on their Google Business Profile: it reads incoming reviews, drafts owner replies in your configured tone, publishes replies you approve or that match rules you set, and lets you send review invitations to customers you select.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for business purposes.
• You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Your authorization to act on your behalf

• By connecting your Google Business Profile, you authorize RankSage to read reviews on the locations you connect and to publish owner replies on your behalf, according to the approval and automation settings you choose.
• You are responsible for the content of replies you approve and for the automation rules you enable, and you must ensure they comply with Google's content policies.
• When sending review invitations, you confirm you have an appropriate basis to contact the recipients you select.

4. Google and other third-party services

The Service interoperates with Google APIs. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms and policies. You can disconnect your Google account at any time in the app or from your Google Account permissions page. Our handling of Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to post spam, deceptive, unlawful, or abusive content, or fake engagement of any kind;
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or circumvent its security or usage limits;
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.

6. Fees

During early access the Service may be provided free of charge. If we introduce paid plans, pricing and billing terms will be presented before you are charged, and continued use of paid features will require an active subscription.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service, including its software, design, and branding. You retain all rights to your business content, and you grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service for you — for example, to store and publish the replies you approve.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that drafted replies are fit for a particular purpose — you remain responsible for what is published on your profile. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RankSage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹5,000 if you have paid nothing).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or risk to the Service or other users, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; if changes are material we will give notice on this page or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence.
